Scouting Nationally

BSEL supports national Scouting through projects such as:

British Groups Abroad
The Company provides the design and printing of ‘Far and Wide' the newsletter sent to British Groups Abroad, which is a County within the Scout Association supporting nearly 1000 Scouts in 27 groups in 16 countries. These are in places such as Western Europe, the Middle East and British Overseas Territories which include the Falkland Islands, Ascension Island and St Helena.

International Scout Active Support
The International Scout Active Support provides a link for Adult supporters and Leaders to participate in Scouting internationally by supporting the work of Networks of the Scout Association. It facilitates the promotion of the Scout Fellowship amongst British Groups Abroad. The Company has sponsored many of their meetings and activities and provided other assistance.

Scout Holiday Homes Trust

The Scout Holiday Homes Trust provides reduced priced holidays at popular holiday sites throughout the country with specially adapted caravans for families with disabled or infirm members as well as low income or single parent families. The Company supports the Trust by producing twice yearly newsletters and has also produced its holiday brochure.

Three Nations 2009
The Company facilitated services for this expedition which took 100 Scout Network members to three national capitals in 2009, Moscow (Russia); Ulaanbaata (Mongolia); and Beijing (China).

UK Adult Scout Alliance
The UK Adult Scout Alliance is a member organisation of the International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF) allowing members in the UK to participate in the meetings and work of the ISGF. The Company has supported the Alliance by sponsoring meetings including the AGMs and assisting with other activities.

UK Africa Scout Fellowship
With the Company's experience in international Scouting activities, it was invited to be involved in the setting up of the UK Africa Network which is a forum for members of the Scout Association who have a special interest in Africa. It has continued to support the Network and sponsor some of its activities.
