As part of the plans, Ministers have decided that no further bids to the Future Jobs Fund (FJF) will be approved for funding.
Ministers appreciate the efforts of all FJF providers in helping workless people into jobs and are now working to develop the 'Work Programme' which will provide new opportunities for national and local partners to contribute to the Government's ambitious programme to tackle unemployment.

Berkshire Young People's Project Progress Report [July 2010]
Berkshire Young People's Project has been a successful way of providing opportunities for unemployed people. Each week we have on average eight volunteers attending a minimum of two days a week, with a mix of new and regular volunteers. The participants have developed a number of skill such as leadership, team work and confidence. The team have helped a number of local charities completing a wide range of conversation projects to improve the environment. Nathan Bray is successfully working on this project and has included a MSC type course for the volunteers at Adventure Dolphin (kayaking).
Current grant funding for BYPP ends September 2010, however we are currently looking for future funding including Lottery funding.

It is with regret the company has been informed by the Department for Work and Pensions that the Future Jobs Fund is to be cut.
