Course content
- Incident management
- Management of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation
- Management of a major bleed
- Management of angina, heart attack, and stroke
This is a practical course and at the end of it attendees will be able to demonstrate checking for a response; how to open an airway and check for normal breathing; recognise cardiac arrest; and be able to deliver CP to current guidelines. Identifying various forms of bleeding and the management of bleeding with practical application of skills learned by students is also part of the course.
